too many bike close calls
- falling without helmet
- hitting the pole
- being in the rain and having cars etc all around me
- cars zooming by me on the road
- on sidewalks because dont want road and then a car came rushing out, i barely got out of that alive and only had a tiny tiny scratch that didnt hurt (but we touched) and missed opps, held down by needing to find a place
- needing to find a spot for it when there isnt one
- like yesterday i got lucky but also wasted like 30m (it was educational though)
- trying to bike to places and showing up sweaty → bad or showing up late because biking is slow relative to other things
sol:
- plan routes with more intention; if route does not have safe bike routes, reconsider
- stick to more safe known routes if i want to not think (e.g. biking at stanford is chilling)
